Day 1
Day 2
The drive is approximately 2-2.5 hours, giving you the chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of Tanzania’s countryside as you approach the park. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your expert safari guide who will take you into the heart of the park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant populations, and you’ll likely encounter herds of these magnificent creatures, especially around the river. The park is also home to lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and a variety of antelope species. As you drive through the park, you’ll witness its varied landscapes, from grassy plains to acacia woodlands and swamps that attract an abundance of wildlife. The iconic baobab trees provide unique photo opportunities, with their ancient, sprawling branches dotting the landscape. After Picnic lunch, continue your afternoon game drive in the park, exploring new areas and spotting more wildlife. If you're lucky, you might also spot rare species, such as cheetahs or the elusive leopards hiding in the trees.
After breakfast, take a scenic drive through Ngorongoro to reach Serengeti National Park by the afternoon, just in time for a game drive. Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous Park in Africa and certainly Tanzania's most famous and visited Park. This Park is home to the big five and big seven, which are the big five plus cheetah and wild dog. Probably the biggest claim to fame for the Serengeti is its annual migration of herbivores. All year around over three million herbivores travel through out the Serengeti in a clockwise fashion, in such of the most lush and nutritious grasses. While the main stars of the migration are the blue (or white-bearded ) wildebeest of which there are over two million, the annual migration also includes herbivores such as zebra and various species of antelope. After the adventure, head to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with our safari expert. After a fantastic game viewing we will head back to the camp for overnight.
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro then Descend to the Crater floor, The famous crater is the main feature of this area two to three million years ago the large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself which resulted the crater formed which then created a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. The Crater is home to zebras, buffalos, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches and hippos. You can find high population of predators including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and leopards. Expect of course to see the Big-Five which includes- Buffalos, Elephants, Leopards, Lions and Rhinos in one day. After a full game drive we drive to Arusha.
