Day-by-Day Itinerary
On the first day of our amazing safari we will travel to Tarangire National Park which is well known for its large elephants especially the giant tuskers herds and a diverse of iconic baobab trees. There is a riverine called Tarangire river which supplies water during the dry season and attracts herds of elephants, wildebeest, buffalos along with flocks of birds also the parks has forests and savannah grassland. Tarangire National park has diversity of animals such as zebra, wildebeest, cape buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, lion, cheetah, caracal, honey badger and African wild dogs. Then drive to Karatu for overnight.

Also this Crater is one of the few wildlife reserves in Tanzania that allow human habitation. The Maasai herdsmen are allowed to graze at the rim of the crater or inside during drought, this implies that it is possible to go on an amazing safari that includes and encounter with local Maasai people.
