Day 2
Day 3
You'll arrive at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 11:00 am. At hand to receive you will be our safari guide, who will have a picnic lunch for you and be ready for the safari. Then, you will embark on your safari, stopping at around 1:00 pm for lunch. After that, you will continue with your game drive, searching for the big cats of Serengeti and herbivores. Finally, you will drive back to your camp in the evening in time for dinner and your overnight stay at Misako Luxury Camp.
You will have breakfast at the camp and depart for your full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The Serengeti landscape is of mesmerizing beauty. While a sizable part of the park consists of seasonally flooded plains, forests, and shrub savannahs, the Serengeti is primarily about one thing, grassy plains. Being surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles is an experience of a lifetime. In their annual migration north, they stampede over vast open plains and plunge into crocodile-infested rivers, all while the predators endlessly hunt them. After your picnic lunch on the Serengeti plains, you'll continue your game drive until late afternoon.
After breakfast, you'll depart for Ngorongoro Crater, considered by some to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. You will get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint. Home to over 120 species of mammals including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought-after safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotami enjoying the cool water. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you'll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa's most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, cape buffalos, and more. You will have a picnic lunch by the park's famous hippo pool before returning to Airport for Zanzibar flight.
