You drive to Arusha National Park, one of the mysterious national parks located in the northeast of Arusha city. It's famous for being a home to Tanzania's second-highest mountain, Mount Meru, and the world's largest population of giraffes. It also harbors incredible wildlife species that cannot be viewed in other national parks, including its vegetation types like the lush rainforest, savannah, and alpine vegetation. Arusha National Park is known for the black-white colobus monkeys, Mount Meru, swamps, lakes, waterfalls, and crater and animals found are buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, leopards, blue monkeys, birds, vervet monkeys, hippos and bushbucks. After the full day, you drive back to the lodge for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, which is named after the Tarangire river known as Life-line of the park. The park is famous for its elephants, birding, and abundance of baobab trees. The park has thousands of elephants that come down to the park during the dry season in search of water, but there are also plenty of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and hippos. Moreover, Tarangire National Park has a varied, beautifully rough and hilly terrain around a winding river where many animals come to drink. In addition, the park is famous for its huge baobab trees, yellow acacias, small swamps, and palm trees. Later, you will drive to Karatu for an overnight stay.
You will wake up and have breakfast in the morning, and continue a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing drives, will spot large troupes of baboons. The park is situated in the rift valley region, also is the wildlife viewing destination located in the northern part of Tanzania, characterized by acacia woodlands, savannah, grassland, a forested area, flood plains, and the rocky escarpment of the Rift Valley. The lake is a shallow alkaline waterbody that attracts different wildlife and bird species along its shores. Attraction can also be described as the factor that entices the tourist to visit. These attractions may include different wildlife species like elephants, klipspringers, rare tree-climbing lions, herds of elephants, impalas, hippos, gazelles, leopards, and other bird species like flamingos, ostriches, storks, hornbills, pelicans, herons, and others. Your packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Later, you'll drive back to Karatu.
After an early breakfast, you'll drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on to Serengeti National Park with game viewing en route. Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous parks in Africa and certainly Tanzania's most famous and visited Park. This park is home to the Big Five and Big Seven, which are the Big Five plus the cheetah and wild dog. Probably the biggest claim to fame for the Serengeti is its annual migration of herbivores. All year round, over three million herbivores travel throughout the Serengeti in a clockwise fashion, in search of the most lush and nutritious grasses. While the main stars of the migration are the blue (or white-bearded) wildebeest, of which there are over two million, the annual migration also includes herbivores such as zebra and various species of antelope. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Full game drive in the Serengeti plains, trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun sets fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Later in the afternoon, you start heading towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with a game drive en route. Your driver will drive on a different route from the one you took on day one. This drive gives you an opportunity to glimpse what the two world heritage sites have to offer, from the golden savannah grasslands of Serengeti to the montane forest of Ngorongoro. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game-viewing drive. Between the Crater rim and floor its possible to see all of the Big Five at Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater is one of the best places to see the endangered black rhino. Giraffes are absent from the Crater floor. It is thought that the banks of the caldera are too steep for them to ascend they can be spotted around the rim. Ngorongoro Crater can be visited year-round. During the driest months, June through October, the lake can turn into a large white salt bed. The Crater bottom is also home to a very high concentration of wildlife, and visitors are not disappointed by the quality and quantity of animals. The annual wildebeest migration also passes by the Crater highlands. Guest visits around December through March may get to witness the migration in this part of the Ngorongoro Crater. Later, you drive to karatu for an overnight stay.
