Day 1 Arrival Arusha City

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced driver guides. After a brief introduction, he will escort you to your reserved hotel in Arusha town and introduce you to this wonderful city and country.

Arusha is a gateway to safari destinations in the northeast and is located in the Northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. The city of approximately 400,000 people is mainly dominated by the Maasai and Meru people.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant’s herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you'll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. After the adventure of the day you will head to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:Karatu to Central Serengeti

This day starts with early breakfast at your lodge followed by a drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Take a breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery rolling into the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will head in the central part of the park known as the Seronera circuit which is very rich in wildlife habitat, the place is featured by the Seronera River that provides Water for the Animals. You will spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of the predators. You might have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive Serengeti

After breakfast, we will view the game as we head to the northern part of Serengeti, where we will stay for 2 days. We will move around the area of Bologonja and the Mara River to witness the great wildebeest migration.

From July to September, thousands of wildebeest and zebra battle strong currents and huge Nile crocodiles in the Northern Serengeti to reach the other side of the river, where they will head to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

Day 5 Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Later in the afternoon start heading towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with a game drive en route. Your driver will drive on a different route from the one you did on day two. This drive gives you an opportunity to glimpse what the two world heritage sites have to offer from the golden savannah grasslands of Serengeti to the montane forest of Ngorongoro.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare. After the excitements of the day you will drive back to Arusha.
