Day 2 - Arusha to Tarangire Np

Today, you will be picked up by your safari guide and driven to Tarangire National Park. Upon arriving in the park, you will go for a game drive.

Tarangire National Park is almost 3,000 sq km and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River, which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the Dry season (June - November) as wildlife concentrations rival the Serengeti's. Enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water. With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species.

Later in the evening, you will drive to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for your overnight stay.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking water will be provided every day per person during the safari.

ACCOMMODATION: Lake Manyara Serena

Day 3 - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you can stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint and have a spectacular view of the crater. Then, proceed to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at Serengeti, you will start the afternoon game drive until sunset.

The Serengeti National Park is the world's last great wildlife refuge. It contains an estimated 3 million large animals, most of which take part in a seasonal migration that is one of nature's wonders. The area covers 14,763 sq km, and the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai "siringet", meaning endless plains.

Day 4 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Later in the afternoon start heading towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with a game drive en route. Your driver will drive on a different route from the one you did on day two. This drive gives you an opportunity to glimpse what the two world heritage sites have to offer from the golden savannah grasslands of Serengeti to the montane forest of Ngorongoro.
